Steve Case (AOL co-founder and CEO of Revolution) is coming to Green Bay on October 17th for his sixth Rise of the Rest startup road trip. InitiativeOne along with other organizations will be featured locations on the tour. This event is part of a national effort to shine a spotlight on innovation and entrepreneurship in places like Green Bay, not just in Silicon Valley. Later in the day there is a pitch competition where Steve Case will personally invest $100,000 into a local startup.
InitiativeOne is pleased to welcome Case along with bestselling author J.D. Vance of Hillbilly Elegy, Wendy Lea of Cintrifuse, Sarah Godlewski of MaSa Partners Impact, Steven Olikara of the Millennial Action Project, Randall Lawton of C.A. Lawton Co., Assemblyman Adam Neylon of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and David Hall of Revolution, LLC and other local political, business, and civic leaders.
Tracy Johnson, Chief Operating Officer and Principal for InitiativeOne, will also participate in a morning round table discussion with Steve Case and other leaders about the past, present, and future of Green Bay’s startup economy.
