At this moment in history I have to say "How to be an Anti-Racist" by Ibram X. Kendi. For leadership, my go to in thick and thin is "Failure of Nerve" by Edwin H. Friedman. For fun, interesting characters, and ultra-running inspiration "Born to Run" by Christopher McDougall is hard to beat. For sounding smarter than I really am, anything Dostoyevsty.

Where do you like to travel?

Everywhere! Especially internationally and into wildernesses.

Spectacular wife Karin and three amazing kids

Outdoor adventures: running the Grand Canyon, thru hiking, and keeping up with my son on skis.

Chile Rellenos--the true mark of a good Mexican Restaurant!

What is one item on your bucket list?

To take a South African Mandela/Tutu tour marking the dismantling of apartheid and rebuilding a country of many peoples.

Just one?! Nobel Peace Prize recipient Leymah Gbowee, US Congressman John Lewis, my mother.
