Panel Description: What shapes the way top leaders think, decide, and lead under pressure? In this panel, experienced executives will share how they approach complex decisions, navigate uncertainty, and maintain clarity when the stakes are high. Panelists will discuss the mindset and leadership disciplines that influence how they lead organizations, build trust across teams, and stay focused on long-term outcomes. Attendees will gain insight into the thinking patterns and leadership behaviors that help executives move from reaction to intentional leadership in demanding environments.
Scott Snider is the President of the Exit Planning Institute (EPI) and Operating
Partner of Snider Premier Growth, a small family investment company. He is a
nationally recognized industry leader, growth specialist, and lifetime entrepreneur.
Scott launched his first business at the age of 17 and sold it at 24, marking his
first successful exit.
He then joined his father’s exit planning and M&A firm, Aspire Management,
helping it dominate Northeast Ohio’s exit planning space. T ogether, they
purchased EPI, introduced the Value Acceleration Methodology, authored an
award-winning book, and grew the organization tenfold. Scott is passionate
about helping business owners and advisors create significant companies and
align personal financial plans by educating and supporting professional advisors.
Outside of business, Scott is active in his community and serves on boards
including America SCORES Cleveland and a high school entrepreneurship
program. He is also a former professional indoor soccer player and team owner
in the Major Arena Soccer League.
Aaron Sadoff was born in 1971 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He is a Gulf
War veteran and a graduate of UW-Madison and Marian University. His
passion is developing, leading and sustaining a community and culture
of happiness. He believes that the science of happiness and positive
psychology can revolutionize the way that organizations and
communities are working to best impact the success of the people they
serve. He is grateful for his wife Kelly of 30 years and his three awesome
adult children, Paige, Lilly, and Ethan.
Serving 25 years in education, formerly the Superintendent of North
Fond du Lac School District Aaron and was honored to be chosen as
the 2019 Wisconsin Superintendent of the Year. He is a past Executive
Director of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation and now serves as the
18th President of Marian University.
Tracy’s collaborative approach in working with leaders and leadership teams
sets in motion the highest possible leadership environment. Tracy conveys
complex principles to leaders in practical terms. As a result, leaders are able to
implement ideas that effectively diminish drama and distraction and deliver
increased results.
Working with the InitiativeOne Proprietary Process for nearly 20 years, Tracy
understands the leverage points that will push leaders beyond their comfort
zone. She knows how to help leaders change behaviors and regain focus. She
guides leaders to higher levels of strategic purpose through her expert
knowledge of what drives individual performance first and subsequently what
drives team performance.
Tracy’s education and experience (BSN, RN and MBA) prepared her for a
distinguished career in Healthcare. T oday, she draws from 20 years of healthcare
leadership experience when delivering and implementing the InitiativeOne
Leadership Transformation processes with clients.
Gina Thorsen is the CEO of Jacquart Fabric Products, home of the iconic Stormy
Kromer brand, and the first woman to lead the 120-year-old company. Since
stepping into the role, she has guided a period of remarkable growth, expanding
Stormy Kromer from a heritage cap maker into a multi-category apparel and
accessories brand with a revitalized digital presence and collaborations with
partners such as Carhartt, Wolverine, Merrell, and the Detroit Red Wings. She
also spearheaded the launch of the Stormy Kromer Collegiate Collection,
featuring partnerships with 18 Midwestern universities.
Before returning to her family’s business in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Gina
spent more than a decade in nonprofit leadership with Big Thought in Dallas,
developing nationally recognized youth programs and securing major
philanthropic investments.
Gina holds degrees from Goucher College and the University of Wisconsin–
Stevens Point and has been recognized as a 2023 Outstanding Business Leader
by Northwood University. She serves on the board of the Small Business
Association of Michigan and the UW–Stevens Point Alumni Board, and recently
completed a term on the Federal Reserve Ninth District Advisory Council.
Katya Andresen is The Cigna Group’s Chief Digital & Analytics Officer, leading strategy
and execution for digital initiatives, analytics, data governance, and AI-driven
experiences across the company. She also oversees Evernorth Labs, the Evernorth
Research Institute, and the Excellence & Transformation team, advancing innovations
that improve access, cost, and quality of care. By uniting digital, analytics, and innovation,
she helps transform health care experiences for customers, clients, and providers.
Before joining Cigna in 2021, Katya served as Senior Vice President at Capital One,
driving experience innovation across all customer touchpoints through teams focused
on insights, digital product design, brand, marketing, and customer experience.
Previously, she held executive roles at mission-driven technology companies, including
CEO of Cricket Media and COO/CSO of Network for Good. Katya also guest lectures at
Georgetown University
’s business school and has taught in the American University Key
Executive Leadership Program. Earlier in her career, she worked as a foreign
correspondent for Reuters and the Associated Press. She holds a B.A. in History from
Haverford College.
Andrea Billups is a nationally recognized communications leader with over two
decades of experience spanning journalism, higher education, nonprofit
advancement, and digital media. A proven strategist and storyteller, she has led
award-winning teams in mission-driven institutions and major media organizations.
As Executive Director of Editorial for Duke University’s Office of Alumni
Engagement and Development, Andrea oversees storytelling and brand strategy
reaching more than 180,000 global stakeholders. Her expertise includes cross-
platform content, alumni and donor engagement, and strategic marketing.
Previously, Andrea held senior journalism roles at PEOPLE Magazine and The
Washington Times, with work published in TIME, Newsweek, Reader’s
Digest, US News, and The Washington Post. She is the author of A Slaying in the
Suburbs and Good in the Woods. A Marshall University Journalism Hall of Fame
inductee, Andrea holds degrees from the University of Florida and Marshall
University and lives in North Carolina.
