SMS Service Description
InitiativeOne uses SMS messaging to provide timely updates related to our monthly Think Tank events. Types of messages may include:

Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary depending on your level of engagement with our events. Typically, you can expect 1–3 messages per month.

Fees
Message and data rates may apply. These fees are determined by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.

Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will no longer receive SMS communications from us once you opt out.

Phone Number Accuracy
You agree to provide a valid mobile number that you own. If you change or deactivate your number, you agree to update us by re-registering through our events page.

InitiativeOne is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues or incorrect numbers.

InitiativeOne Connect Membership
Terms and Conditions

Organization: FWJ Inc dba InitiativeOne (“InitiativeOne,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
 Program: InitiativeOne Connect Membership (“Connect Membership” or “Membership”

By enrolling in InitiativeOne Connect, you (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
 
1. Membership Overview
InitiativeOne Connect is a subscription-based membership program that provides access to leadership development resources, content, tools, events, and community features as determined by InitiativeOne.

Membership benefits may evolve over time to improve the experience and value delivered to Members.
 
2. Pricing and Complimentary Introductory Period

• The Connect Membership fee is $49 per month.

• Upon initial enrollment, Members receive the first fourteen (14) days complimentary.

• During this fourteen-day period, you will have full access to the Membership benefits.
   

By enrolling, you authorize InitiativeOne to store your payment information and charge the payment method on file according to these Terms.
 
3. Automatic Billing and Renewal

• At the end of the fourteen-day complimentary period, your Membership will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

• You will be charged $49 using the credit card or payment method on file.

• Your Membership will then automatically renew each month on the same calendar date (or nearest applicable billing date) unless canceled in accordance with these Terms.
   

By enrolling, you expressly authorize InitiativeOne to automatically charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
 
4. Cancellation Policy

• Members may cancel their Membership at any time.

• To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellation requests must be submitted at least seven (7) days prior to your renewal date.

• Cancellation requests submitted fewer than seven days before renewal may result in one final monthly charge.

Cancellation must be completed through the designated membership portal or by written request to info@initiative-one.com

Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access through the end of your current billing period.

• No partial month refunds will be provided.

 
5. Refund Policy

• The fourteen-day introductory period is complimentary and non-refundable.

• After a billing charge has been processed, all Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

 
6. Member Responsibilities
By participating in Connect Membership, you agree to:

• Use the platform, content, and community in a respectful and professional manner.

• Not share, distribute, reproduce, or resell any proprietary content, materials, or access credentials.

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
   

InitiativeOne reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or inappropriate conduct.
 
7. Intellectual Property
All content within InitiativeOne Connect, including but not limited to videos, tools, frameworks, written materials, and training resources, is the intellectual property of InitiativeOne or its licensors.

Membership grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal and professional development use only. No ownership rights are transferred.
 
8. Modifications to Membership or Pricing
InitiativeOne reserves the right to:

• Modify Membership features, content, or benefits

• Update pricing

• Update these Terms and Conditions
   

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
 
9. Termination by InitiativeOne
InitiativeOne may suspend or terminate your Membership, without refund, if:

• You violate these Terms

• You misuse content or community access

• Your payment method fails and is not updated

 
10. No Guarantee of Outcomes
InitiativeOne Connect provides leadership development resources and community support. We do not guarantee specific business, leadership, or personal outcomes resulting from participation.
 
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InitiativeOne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Connect Membership.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to InitiativeOne for Membership fees in the preceding three months.
 
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
