ThinkTank is evolving into the iOne community  

Ten years ago we launched ThinkTank as a complimentary gift to leaders across the country. Your curiosity and engagement helped us grow from 16 people in a room to thousands gathering each month. To deliver deeper, research‑based transformation and to sustain the quality you expect, ThinkTank is moving to a membership model accessed through our new InitiativeOne Connect app.

 

Why we changed

We are guided by two non‑negotiable values: Excellence and Partnership. Excellence requires the resources to produce consistently high‑quality content and experiences. Partnership requires mutual commitment from those who want to do the hard work of transformation. Over time our complimentary model limited our ability to invest in the expert access, professionally led learning, and platform features our community requested.

A practical reality — we invested $1.5 million to build a dedicated event space and were absorbing nearly $500,000 a year in production, editing, social media, staff support, and facility costs to keep ThinkTank complimentary. Offering this level of service at no charge, while maintaining other services and programs, was not sustainable and would have required cuts elsewhere. To preserve the quality and breadth of our work, we needed a different model.

 

What’s new

• Access through the InitiativeOne Connect App — registration for live ThinkTanks and watch parties will be managed in‑app.

• Bold Start introductory membership — $350 for the first year (about $29 per month).

• Included benefits — live ThinkTank registration; full multi‑year on‑demand library; expert Q&A sessions; professionally led discussion rooms; short online courses; tools to host and manage watch parties.

• Support for organizations — group pricing and watch‑party tools are available. Limited scholarships will be offered for need‑based access.

 

What this means for you

• If you value our work and want to go deeper, the InitiativeOne Connect App membership gives you direct access to experts, a searchable library, and structured learning that supports real change.

• If you prefer occasional attendance, the introductory year provides full access so you can explore the library and community.

• If cost is a barrier, contact our team to discuss scholarship or group options.
